About us
Welcome
to our tranquil French home. For twenty years I was
a banker in the City of London and my husband
Richard ran a marketing company. I am an
enthusiastic cook and have attended courses in
France, Ireland and the UK, whilst developing an
extensive knowledge of gluten free cookery from
when Richard was diagnosed with the coeliac
condition in the early 1990’s. The excellent
choice of fresh produce available locally from
small independent growers and fishermen, makes
cooking a delight.
Cherves is a village where we have friendly neighbours. We can hear the farmers working the vineyards and children playing. We walk to our local boulangerie, enjoy Cognac and pineau nearby, whilst retaining a rural outlook. Why don’t you visit and see if you agree.
